Well, that’s what Sandy Munro said. He may be right. Sakuu makes batteries. I talked about them before. But, instead of a traditional “jelly roll” cell where the active parts of bonded to foil (typically, aluminum and copper) there is no foil.

Quickly in the video you are shown how to “connect” the cells. You just put them on top of each other. Again, no metal. It’s pretty amazing.

They then go on to compare a 4680 to a Sakuu cell. Not surprisingly, the Sakuu cell has a higher energy density. It’s pretty amazing technology. Completely a dry process.
