Tesla is clearly #1 in the EV market. Some people don’t like that but that’s a personal problem. There are reasons why it is #1.
I have talked about how Tesla is streamlining manufacturing before. Also, they have the volume to get the best supplier deals. Yes, some other company may catch up but probably not soon.
If you go to time 1:26 in this Electrified video you will see a great explanation of their design to simplify assembly. Minimal fasteners, design so things cannot be put in wrong and assembly where one person rather than two is required. Check it out. It’s impressive.
