Candela offers a series of electric boats. They are hydrofoils which are much more efficient than you typical “hull in the water” boat. What surprised me is that they have teamed up with car maker Polestar for batteries. They offer both leisure boats and pro-type boats suitable for shuttle use.
As an example, their largest shuttle, the P-12, can transport up to 30 passengers. It has a top speed of 60 kph and a range of 60 nautical miles. For cities surrounded by water (Seattle comes to mind) it offers an energy-efficient alternative to diesel boats and even land transit.
