An Electric Hydrofoil

I posted a couple of articles last month about a hybrid yacht and a yacht tender. They both seemed pretty cool but this is a real electric boat. It is a hydrofoil with a top speed of 41 kph and a range of 185 km.

This may not be the boat for you with a price tag of over $200,000 but it seems like a good proof of concept. Hydrofoils are the way to significantly cut the drag of a boat hull passing through the water. And electric is the way to cut the noise and pollution.
