A few years ago there were quite a few “enclosed ebikes” on the market. They seemed to fall into two categories: way too expensive and on their way to bankruptsy. Veemo was on in the latter category.
Well, Veemo is back and probably with a good chance to stay. ENVO has bought Veemo’s remains and plans to get it to market soon. ENVO is an operating company with other e-mobility products so adding Veemo to their product line makes sense. That is, Veemo will use a lot of the components of their current products.
According to New Atlas you can pre-order a Veemo with a $250 deposit. The total pre-order price is $6199. This is a one-passenger vehicle with about 60 liters of cargo space behind the seat. A short video will fill in the blanks.
