18-Wheel ATV

When you hear of an 18 wheeler you think of a big truck but here we are talking about a relatively small all terrain vehicle.

18 wheels has a prototype of this unique off-road EV and is working on a production model. Besides being very agile on rough terrain they claim it does a lot less damage than a traditional ATV.

Rather than a complicated drive train they use wheel motors. Each of the 18 wheels has its own motor and suspension. Clearly something that could not be done with ICE propulsion.
