XBUS, what’s that? Remember the old VW Type 2 vehicles? You could get a cargo van, passenger van, pickup and probably some other body styles. They were, of course, from Germany. Well, Electric Brands took that idea of flexibility and is making a vehicle that is modular so it can be any of an assortment of styles.
I am skeptical of them being able to produce these vehicles (they will be available in 2024 and can be pre-ordered now) at the prices they are talking about but the concept is very interesting. Because the design is so modular it seems like some company might want a customized version and order thousands but we will have to wait and see.
