BYD has just announced that the Dolphin is now available in Mexico. Being in Guatemala (and knowing it is already available in Costa Rica) it sounds like a good trend. The story comes from Electrek plus I noticed it on the BYD web site.
The Dolphin is on my short list so, for me, this is good news. That said, the article quotes the price as $31,000 which seems pretty expensive. The Yuan Plus (Atto 3) is already available with a price of about $33,000. Note that the Dolphin is also available in Japan and BYD has produced over 500,000 of them so maybe they are not in the mood for bargain prices yet.
