The Geely Galaxy E5 sounds like a game changer. Yeah, we are all sick of that expression but …
The E5 is an SUV almost as big as a Tesla Model Y. Based on the specs (and Geely’s claims) it has an amazingly efficient drive train. The battery is Geely’s Aegis LFP pack. These batteries have gone through lots of testing to prove they are amazingly safe. For efficiency, we are talking 11.9 kWh per 100 km.
This is rumored to be a world car — that is, available around the world, not just in China. The Electric Viking offers more information about this car. He also plans to have a video on the new battery technology soon.
I looked around for more info and found a quite different review at wheelboy that may be worth your time. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lack of real detail yet.
My big question is “will this be sold at Volvo dealers?”
